Pastel gives me the freedom to explore light, colour and atmosphere in an immediate and expressive way. I work through layers of colour and delicate touches, allowing the image to develop gradually while retaining something of the feeling of the place or moment.

Le pastel me donne la liberté d’explorer la lumière, la couleur et l’atmosphère d’une manière spontanée et expressive. Je travaille par couches de couleur et touches délicates, laissant progressivement l’image se construire tout en conservant quelque chose de l’émotion du lieu ou de l’instant.
